Dear Readers,

We put together an author interview with Erica Penrod, the talent behind the book, "Her Brilliant Cowboy Billionaire." Check it out...
Q. Tell us a few of your favorite things.
A few of my favorite things are movie theaters, riding horses with my family, and vacuum tracks. I enjoy lunch with friends, a weekend of binge watching a tv series, and wearing fuzzy socks. And if you can’t find me in the grocery store, I’m usually on the cleaning aisle inhaling the lemon fresh scent.

Q. Can you share a few fun author facts?
Whenever I start a new book, I usually have a scene in mind and from there, I fill in the blanks. Who are these characters? Why are they here and where do they go from here? I usually begin a chapter or two before I outline any more and even then I only outline a few chapters at a time. My characters have been known to do or say something or go somewhere I never expected. Many times I’m excited to find out what happens next as my fingers hit the keyboard.

Q. What was the best part about the research trip to Seattle?
My favorite part of the Seattle trip was trying to maneuver the skinny streets of Seattle in a minivan. Six other authors, most of whom I hadn’t met before all buckled up in one car was a blast. I enjoyed seeing the Space Needle in person, and other landmarks I’d only seen on screen or in pictures. Another thing I found interesting about Seattle was how many people had dogs with them wherever we went.

Q. Do you have a favorite or fun quote?
From Gone with the Wind. “Well, I won’t think about this now. I’ll think about it tomorrow.”

We hope you've enjoyed getting to know Erica a bit more. To pick up a copy of her book, click here.

Dear Readers,

Release days are like a party around here. Months and months of writing, editing, proofreading, designing, digging through photos to find the perfect cover, and planning go into each book. When one is put out there in the world, we send it off with a smile and a hearty handshake and chocolate cake. (Okay, we don't always eat cake but there is ALWAYS chocolate involved.)

Today is the official release day of "Her Brilliant Cowboy Billionaire" by Erica Penrod. Here's a teaser for the book:

Jamon West is out of his element in the neighborhood full of old-money billionaires and tech geniuses. Can Gemma Stone transform him into a respectable Seattle billionaire without losing her heart to this Texas cowboy in the process?

Super fun! Happy reading,
Gelato

Dear Reader,

It's official, HER BEAST OF A BILLIONAIRE BOSS is a hit! Check out what readers are saying about this book:
"I should state that Beauty and the Beast is my all time favorite Disney fairytale and this book stuck to that theme, but in a new and creative way. I loved it soooo much!"

"... this book is delightful. This is the story Disney's live action Beauty and the Best should have been."

“This is a good story, a update of Beauty and the Beast, fast paced with enough twists to keep it interesting. What makes it stand out is that the characters are excellent: not only Adam and Bella but the supporting cast as well. Looks like the beginning of a fun new series.”

We couldn't be more thrilled with the way readers have taken this book into their hearts! We're so glad you're enjoying the series and we look forward to many more fantastic books with you!

You can read the book and post your own review here.

A Map of The Cove--just in case you wanted to visit. ;)

Dear Reader,

When organizing a large group of writers, such as the talented authors for the Billionaire Bachelor Cove series, it helps keep everyone on track to have a visual representation of the area. We knew this, so we created a map.
Picture
The map is a representation of The Cove, developed by The Beast in HER BEAST OF A BILLIONAIRE BOSS. What you can't see on the map is that the land slopes. The beach is the lowest point and the lake (on the right) is the highest. Most of the lots have been assigned, but there are a few surprises that will pop up later in the series. We hope you're looking forward to them. And, if you haven't already read HER BEAST OF A BILLIONAIRE BOSS, then you can pick up a copy here.

Happy reading,

Dear Reader,

Today is a very special day. It’s release day for the first book in our Billionaire Bachelor Cove clean romance series! You can pick up your copy and start the romantic adventure today by clicking here.

“Her Beast of a Billionaire Boss,” by Lucy McConnell, starts out the series with a bang. She introduces you to the concept behind a billionaire neighborhood where helicopter pads come standard in the back yard, there’s a landing strip for private planes, and a security team made up of black ops specialists patrol the perimeter.

ABOUT THE BOOK:

When Bella Creer’s father has a heart attack and is unable to finish his contract for Adam Moreau, a ruthless lawyer based in Seattle, she steps in to take his place and save The Cove Phase II.

Adam, a billionaire who lives in a secluded castle on a cliff, is gruff, demanding, brilliant, and injured. An acid attack left its mark on Adam’s face but it’s his heart’s wounds that Bella sees clearly.

As she takes on the management of a multi-billion-dollar project, Bella’s confidence in herself strengthens and her attraction to Adam grows. But Adam didn’t become the best lawyer in the state by making friends and the wolves circle, ready to attack him at his weakest. Bella will have to be stronger than she’s ever been just to survive her day in court. And, she’ll need to realize that her true power lies in her ability to love beyond measure before it’s too late for Adam and The Cove.

A RESEARCH TRIP

To prepare to write in the Billionaire Bachelor Cove series, the authors met up in Seattle, WA, for a research trip. They visited all the tourist sites, including the Space Needle, Pike’s Place Market, and the Gum Wall.
They also ate at local restaurants, toured upscale neighborhoods, dealt with parking issues, hiked through a state park, and pretty much had a blast.

“What I loved most about Seattle,” said Author Lucy McConnell, “was the friendly atmosphere. It was busy and yet relaxed.”

Once back at their desks, the authors got to work creating characters that are so real they jump off the page. Check out this excerpt from “Her Beast of a Billionaire Boss.”

The car stopped in front of King County Courthouse. The aged gray building was shaped like a letter H, with two columns of justice connected by a tunnel of office space. There were decorations on the exterior to recommend it as an architectural beauty.
Impatient, Adam threw open the door before his driver had a chance to open it for him and marched towards the entry. He was single-minded in his movements and didn’t notice the woman in the yellow dress until their hands touched on the door.
“Oh!” she exclaimed, a smile blossoming on her face.
Feeling a jolt up his arm, Adam gave her his full attention. Her brown hair was pulled back in a style reminiscent of the 1940s with a few thick, loose curls bouncing to her chin and framing her enchanting, heart-shaped face. She had large, doe-like brown eyes that dropped demurely as his cheeks colored.
He never blushed. The sensation was enough to knock him off his course. She smelled of lilacs and fresh rain.
“I’m so sorry. You go first,” she said. Her voice was strong and yet a caress that drew him near. He had the strangest feeling that he’d like to slay a dragon.
He thrust the door open and motioned for her to enter. “I insist.”
“Thank you.” Her cheeks dusted pink, and for the first time in his life, Adam was quite out of his mind over a woman. He couldn’t remember where he was going or why it was important.
“You look lovely,” he said, not even sure the words made it out of his mouth. He didn’t throw out compliments to strangers. Heck, he didn’t compliment anyone.
Her smile deepened. “Thank you. I’m meeting my fiancé upstairs. We’re getting married today.” She nodded once, her smile lighting up the entire lobby and cracking through the plaster he’d applied to his heart long ago, and then she was off to the elevators and he was left feeling as though he’d missed the opportunity of a lifetime.
